About The Event

27th Annual Scientific Sessions of the Sri Lanka College of Microbiologists (SLCM) and the International Conference on Infectious Diseases and Antimicrobial Resistance.

Theme : Communicate and collaborate for clinical excellence

 

Objectives of the Program

  • To raise awareness among clinicians including primary care physicians , policy makers and the public of the burden of AMR and on strategies for prevention and control of Infections and AMR in South Asia.
  • To disseminate knowledge and skills pertaining to infectious diseases and AMR within the South Asian region
  • To promote basic and applied research in infectious diseases and AMR.
  • To promote collaboration among clinicians and researchers in the region to study the epidemiology, laboratory diagnosis, management and prevention and control of infections and AMR.

We invite you to the International Conference on Infectious Diseases and Antimicrobial Resistance which will be held from 08th to 11th August 2018 at the Hotel Taj Samudra, Colombo, Sri Lanka.
The conference will consist of 8 plenary lectures and 7 symposia with participation of world’s leading experts. This will be a very important congress in infectious diseases, Antimicrobial Resistance and Infection prevention and control. You can also share your research findings by sending your abstracts of your research work on different areas related to infectious disease and
clinical microbiology to present at this conference.
